ReplyDelete- You picked the one video of Van Jones that isn't really controversial for a good reason. He's right. White kids have been the perps in all of the major school shootings that have happened (except that one asian kid at VT). What he didn't say is that the black kids wait until they're 28, on parole and living on my mom's block in Kensington to go on their shooting spree.

Yeah. Trent Lott resigned over that. Remember the media coverage? Massive. Massive massive massive. A massive, epic fail on the media's part.

1) You're absolutely right that the morons in the media and on the left latch on to any misspeech (or somehow maleable speech that could be made to seem to imply something that could possibly be offensive). But, I would hope that this is one area (of many, many, many) in which we're better than them. You could have picked the video of him calling Republicans assholes (and then saying that Obama isn't one... wow). This one, I think, makes us seem a lot like them in their handling of the Trent Lott/Strom Thurmond issue. PS: Aside from the segregationist stuff, Strom Thurmond would have been a great President. But hey, how long has the Democratic Party been putting their full weight behind Grand Wizard Byrd?

And whatever you say to me bounces off of me and sticks to you like glue. I think it goes something like that. I'll have to ask one of the kids who almost hit me with their bike whenever I open my door.
1 - I think you may have misunderstood. His comments were racist against black people, not white people. I'll break it down for you: "When white people shoot someone, we really put our all into it. When black people shoot someone, we quit after the first shot."

2 - There is one BLARINGLY obvious reason that Van Jones would have even realized that makes him Frylock. And you know me. I'm all about heritage.
